a reason to love?

SONG - JUST GIVE ME A REASON by PINK ft Nate Ruess ...love is not something you learn, love is something you feel. You can love a thing, a person, an idea.... you can love the idea of a person with a thing for all I know... but I refuse to believe that you "learn" to love something because that means you can also "Forget" to love, and love is not something you forget; love is endless. You can learn to accept and care... -caring though, that's an entire different issue...- You don't forget how to love, or love in general, if it's not there, then maybe it changed form or place... or in the end it wasn't love at all. It's a great song, and Pink is trying something new with the style of music, she never ceases to make an impact through songs... this time though instead of agreeing with her words I refuse to accept the meaning of it, in spite of loving the song in general, musical wise and also because Pink is a great artist.

Once you see him...

Rated R for disturbing images and terror…
---I must say Ethan Hawke really surprised me, in a good way, in the film.--- From the beginning of the film I found myself guessing the every move of the movie… yet with the suspense implicated by the story I could feel my heart racing with every scene to come. It had been a while since I’ve been scared during a “scary” movie. I do have to say, movies that indicate children as the main source of evil take over are the ones that freak me out the most. Sinister follows a plot line of your usual terror film, a person looking for trouble finds trouble and usually it comes from whom you least expect it. Writers Scott Derrickso and C. Robert Cargill made it a point to incorporate the supernatural with the reality of today’s society: how far will you go to pull through the crisis?. "Sinister" 2012

FILM: The Holiday (2006) by Nancy Meyers

Miles: "The wind... it's what makes it so warm this time of year. Legend has it, when the Santa Anas blow, anything can happen.
...Don't Blow Away."

The holiday is a romantic comedy like no other, not only do you laugh and cry but you fall in love with love all over again. Is for all of those hopeless romantic out there that have experienced unrequited love, and also for all of those people out there that somehow think they're unable to find love again or fully love someone all together.

The twist of finding love and happiness when all you're looking for is isolation and forgetfulness, tell us that love is that which happens when you least expect it..., but only when you are looking for your true self and are at peace with it.

The witty comedy lines that each character brings to the story works perfectly balanced with the their natural beauty and sex appeal... even for Jack Black (Miles) this was but a perfect step to show a more emotional, and less jerk of a comedy side.

It's great to see the balance that each character brings to the table. The writer makes a perfect symmetry between them all when Graham & Iris (Jude Law & Kate Winslet) have the emotional soft side, and Miles & Amanda (Jack Black and Cameron Diaz) bring the funny romantic side... and mixing them all.

I've watched this movie too many times to actually count and everytime I get the same excitement and sentimentalism. Be sure to have a glass of wine with you, and perhaps some chocolate...

FINALLY Booth&Bones - Season 6 (BONES)

Did anybody else thought that Booth and Bones rushed things in the last two episodes of this last season?

Yes we've all been waiting for this to happen: Bones crumbles and looks like regular woman in love, and Booth finally takes care of her, not only protecting her on the Job, but to see him caress her with the gentleness we all know he has and has been crazy to show... But, wasn't it shocking to see them kiss, hug, sleep together and announce a pregnancy all in two episodes?.

Overall season 6 dragged along a lot of unfinished business, but it felt like they were almost giving us a finale for the entire show with the wrap up of only one season...

It was a great first and middle part for the season, all very nerve wracking and crazy with expectations, which kept us following along the entire time...

We do love seeing Bones get more humanized, and Booth so masculine and worried at the same time. How everybody else's life is moving along smoothly, and how some of their life's ended so unpredictably... though necessary to keep the same wheel working because, admit it, we only want one awkward yet good looking genius in this show and that is Bones.

Everything was a big rollercoaster:
*Booth fell in love, proposed, and got shut down.
*Bones realized she waited too long, and had to take on learning to live with Booth finding someone else.
*Cam is faced with life changing choices.
*Angela & Hodginds become parents.
*Sweets needs a shrink of his own.
*Booth & Bones finally happen.
*Someone dies.

following Booth (David Boreanaz) on twitter gives me a more personal approach to how taping for the upcoming season is working, all the actors seem to be excited for this new season (season 7), which gets us all very intrigued on how they are going to work out all these new, non-death-related, things in their life, with a show that is mostly bases on science and danger.

anywho... SEASON 7 HURRY UP!!!!

Book: Eat Pray Love by Elizabeth Gilbert

...have you ever found yourself reading the last page of a book and started crying because you can't believe is almost done!?.... ♥ this does not happen often enough...

My subtitle for this book review is:
-Find your "Kalos Kai Agathos"

Liz Gilbert writes this book in a form of a dialogue between her and the reader, at most I found myself imagining that she was sitting next to me telling me these stories, or that I was standing next to her during these travels. Eating crazy amounts of italian food while sighing because of the handsome Italian men, or finding peace with a total different me that was imposed by ME going to India to find "God", and helping others find balance; giving Tutti a home. Not forgetting alas, finding "true" love.

As "cheesy" as it may be, (because they already made a "romantic comedy of a movie" with it)I do, definetly, recommend this book... But you have got to keep an open mind. (I haven't watched the movie, and I refused to do so till I finished the book, which i guess i'll see it now since its the next step), but the emotions that this book brought to me are like no other. Then again, it also depends on what kind of books and "stories" you like, and also what emotional state you're in... (hint: is the best read for an "obsessive search for love and loose of focus" kind of gall.) This book is a good combination of comedy, dialogue, knowledge (you can learn a lot about anything) and self empowerement, it really makes you want to stop and smell the flowers, while actually also plant some of your own.

and I will read again in a few months... ;) you'll hear about it.

DEXTER: Season 5 (Lumen)

Lumen (Julia Stiles) was the best way for Dexter (Michael C. Hall) to find the thrill to kill again and not be stressed about his new "family" life... To get over Rita (Julie Benz), accept again his dark passenger and separate the "different" parts of his life. Yes, she (Lumen)left, and yes we hated her at first for being there and then hated her for leaving... but she had to leave, her character made us hate her and love her and then be sad and happy about it; It made us believe in a "normal", caring Dexter with a dark twist, which is not what Dexter is all about... (it would've end up with the "Rita love business" all over again) ...But it couldn't work because he was her crutch but she does not have a dark passenger, and the writers can't get us used to Dexter the "loving man"... they need to get us back to basics, to this unusual feeling of enjoying the work of a "good" serial killer... like when he was dating Rita but wasn't so involve. Maybe she'll be back, and maybe in a twisted way, or maybe not... but not for now. Props to the writers, because they always know how to make us be surprised at the end of the seasons, even though for a bit there we almost lost it around season 4, but hey I guess we're back on!
